Shame on you posting the answer! The idea of these competitions is to encourage people who are genuine fans of lush products to use their product knowledge to win something lovely from the place where they spend a lot of their money! With people like you posting the answer online you are encouraging cheats!

A lot of the proper lush fans spent hours going through that film to get the answers correct & you are doing them out of the reward for their hard work!

yes and youre just coming on a forum you have never used to moan, when u have no idea how the forum works, how do u know we are all not lush fans? i spent a fortune in the after xmas sale on the grab bags , so they have my custom anyway xxxx

Me too! I also had a Lush party in april and just my order on its own was the biggest lush party order my store had ever had! My children love it too, they call it Smell shop!

I'm pleased to say I won 1st prize in my nearest store at around lunchtime today, the lovely staff were actually surprised at the lack of interest so far, so the theory of hundreds of cheating MSE users grabbing all the prizes I think is a load of rubbish!

If you hadn't already noticed only 27 people thanked the OP and then only 13 thanked for the list, unlike the literally hundreds who can enter some competitions on here. Yes some people may have read it and not bothered thanking and then gone on to go in and win, but quite honestly for it being such a fab comp I'm sure they would have thanked.

You'll probably find the majority of people read the post, decided it wasn't their cup of (chai) and then moved on to the next comp. Especially as you had to go in to get the prize and say something silly!!!

Those who did go in are probably big lush fans anyway, and any who weren't before will be now!!! As a massive lush fan, I'm more then happy for others to try the products out, share the love and all that!!!

I've been having a little look on the lush forum (yes I am a member) and it seems as if you've all been cleaning up quite nicely with the prizes anyway!!!!

I really don't think it is the massive problem you have made it out to be!!!

I really hope Lush carry on with this idea, it's been brilliant!!! I've loved watching the films and spotting the names, nice one lush!!!

Went into Plymouth today, and the lush box was won by the first person into the shop on Saturday!! They had even dressed in 40s clothes apparently so def a real lush fan!!!
I got some banana scrub as a consulation, they are always so nice in the shop!!

Would love to know who it was who won tho - hope it was an MSEr!!!

I don't see what's wrong with posting the answers...
I think some people are a wee bit protective because of the whole 'we're your friends' company schtick. If it was another shop/company no-one would care.

True! Also loads of us were probably going to do the comp anyway, as Lush prizes don't come around that often, so when they come up us Lush fans on here notice them quick enough!! I still watched through the video even though it had been posted, went in and still spent as I would have done normally.

Think they may have realised they have made themselves look a little bit silly by posting now without considering the facts. :rolleyes:

I was one of the ones who was up early waiting for the comp to start - I got first prize at the Exeter store.

I do think it's a shame the answers were posted so early on here... last time it was further into the competition so people had a better chance of doing it themselves and getting prizes from their own work. I also know that some spent up to 5 hours working on it and understand their frustration if someone who hadn't tried went and got the other prize after not even watching the video. I guess it was bound to happen but I do feel sorry for them none the less.

The Plymouth prize was won by one of the Lush forum members - definitely a big fan and very well deserved - think she was one of the first to get all the answers. Not sure if she's a member here or not to be honest.

I went to the store in Liverpool Street station yesterday all geared up to say the code phrase, only to get there and realise they were closed on sundays! Should've phoned first - better hope there's something left by lunchtime!

they won't have - they had run out completely by yesterday, although why they only had four prizes is anyone's guess - every store should have had one item of each of the products for prizes....very strange

as for whoever said those of us who don't post just take the compo answers you couldn't be more wrong, I may be registered here but I rarely bother coming on the forums at all, let alone picking up compo answers - I only came on this thread because someone told us on the lush forum about it

lots of people have missed out, some who travelled quite far to get to the stores so they may feel differently about whoever posted the details on here
