Fairy Dishwasher tablets + Hard Water = Limescale?

We bought a load of Fairy dishwasher tablets on offer a few weeks ago and recently things are coming out of the wash in a thin film. I think its limescale as it seems to highlight fingerprints and where dirt has been, like where you have used cheese on a cheese grater, it can be scraped off.

Before we were using the Finish all in one tablets and had no problems, the dishwasher is only 6 months old too, so can't see thats a problem. All filters have been cleaned and I even cleaned everything with Cillit Bang Limescale and that cleaned everything and it came out of the next wash clean, but now its building up again We've even tried one of the Finish dishwasher cleaner, dishwasher was lovely and clean but the next load still came out with a film on them again.

Its REALLY annoying as we have to wash everything by hand to remove the film :eek:. Any ideas?

P.s. Were in Maidstone, Kent....

Sounds like the dishes are not being rinsed properly? I know it's not very MSE, but have you tried rinse aid in the dispenser? Some people use vinegar instead, but I've not tried that myself.

I was going to try that, or that and salt. The Fairy tabs say they work everywhere except 2% of the country where the water is really hard, maybe I just live in a super hard water area

Its just strange that it didn't happen with the Finish ones. Shall post results of the rinseaid...
