Help with Burning DVD

Can anyone tell me if home DVD recordings are regionalised when burning on a PC? I want to copy/burn footage taken from my Digital video camera onto a DVD via my PC's NEC DVD burner. I have all of the plugs etc and can follow the instructions about how to connect it up but will be sending the footage to relatives in Australia and the USA. I know DVD films here are region 2, the USA region 1 and Australia region 5 but wondering if my DVD burner will regionalise the recording to region 2 and if so can I change the settings to suit USA & Australia?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks very much for the info, I looked on the NEC website but couldn't find any information regarding regionalisation.
Great I can put together footage for the elderly relatives in OZ and USA who haven't seen their relations over here for years and are too old to travel. Thanks again0
