OMG - i am really peeved. (this is partly MY fault so please dont anyone pious pipe up and complain lol)
Ordered a load of stuff from cath kidston website - grand total £97!!!!!! Not money saving i know but MAINLY for birthday presents for others so not TOO bad (ahem!)
It has been a week or so and no sign so i thought uh oh and checked the delivery page again (ok so i didnt really read it well before but hey!)
It actually states that delivery can take up to 28 days. that is a MADLY long time.......and not only that but delivery cost is £4.95. Which is pretty pricey really. I just cannot believe that a large company like that can get away with charging so much delivery and then making customers wait so long for their order!!!!!!!!!!!! considering john lewis can deliver free (i am not AGAINST delivery charge per se...) AND delivery within 2 days (thats how long my last order took!) i cant see how cath kidston can justify this at all.
Sorry for rant...i am just really upset that i have paid for such lovely pressies for family (spent more than i normally would as i have new job and wanted to treat people this year!) and they are pretty much certain not to have them on their birthdays  (dont really want an angry face - wanted SAD one lol!!!!!!)
(but yes all those who are sure to moan at me for moaning lol...i KNOW i should have checked t&c's more carefully. grrr)

Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

That's really bad! I wonder why it takes so long?!
It might be worth sending them a quick email asking how long the average delivery time is (as opposed to the longest!) as it might not actually be that long in reality. They may just be covering themselves incase it takes longer than usual.
I hope you get the pressies in time!

Hi Laura - i am a Laura too!!!
I just can't belive how MUCH they charge tbh....and to then say it could take anything up to a month is just so bad!!! I mean, they cant have as many orders as other bigger retailers who manage much cheaper p&p and also manage to get things out within a week at most - you are paying for a courier service for cath kidston so its not like its RM who can be unreliable...so it must take them a few weeks to find the products in their warehouse...>!?!??!!?!!?!??!?!Baldrick, does it have to be this way? How long!! If postage was free ok maybe i could see why as its free but to be paying and for it to take so long i cant see why. Maybe if you email and ask the average time for delivey? might be alot less.New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.
No place in the world that can compare ♥ 2nd October 2010 ♥0 -
the 4.95 is a postage charge, nothing to do with delivery times.0
