Contact Eon (look on the bill for a telephone number), and ask how your account has been transferred to them. I assume your older bills are from Scottish Power."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

E-On actually provide the meters no matter what company you are with, they should be re-newed every 10 years. I've just had mine done and i'm with EDF!!!:j Egypt 10th May - Here we come!!!:j0

Can you provide a source for that please.
I'm not disagreeing with you but saying "someone on the internet told me" will probably get me laughed up when I ring up to ask if I can have a new meter because mine is ancient

i have to disagree the metres in my area are not provided by eon they are done by a company called metre plus i had mine changed 2 yrs ago over a fault and now i've had a letter saying it's going to be changed again0 -
I got switched a couple of years ago from Scottish Power to Powergen. Apparently I had been confused with someone else in my postcode area. Although I was miffed Powergen were not hugely apologetic. I got the impression from the call centre staff that it was quite a common occurance.0
