HI
I am currently with eon, dual fuel, on there cheapest tariff, online service and pay by a set amount each month.
Anyway - I enquired about there capped taiff till oct 09. Mainly due to the fact I have heard about massive price rises, plus you get a free energy monitor (only free if you stay on this tariff till the end)
Anyway - its going to be approx 12% more a month - which I got them to work out based on my last 12months consumption.
Should I grab this while its still available?
And note, I have never had any issues with eon.

See my post on EON PP16 at the end of the sticky on fixing. For my usage pattern, I think PP16 is viable, as I expect to make the 10% saving to offset the kwhs tariff premium.

Neither did I until I asked to go to 'One Bill', now my online outstanding balance has changed every day for the last week.0 -
I'm thinking of changing to EON does anyone else have any feedback on this?0

I would check as I'm with e.on Energy Saver 5 and when I phoned up I was told it would only be around 7% extra, when I checked if it included the 16% online discount and 6% direct debit he confirmed the 6% was included ... not the 16%.
I worked out it was around a 29% increase!Help me to help you :santa2:0 -
Well, as a existing customer, they would not allow me to use quidco, so I switched online. Martins online now on a special program so I doubt the capped deals will be online for a while. Ok - its £7 extra a month, but better that than say £30 a month.
