Problems accessing Halifax websaver

Options
Hi there, just signed up for a Halifax websaver and recieved the link to their online demo. Now I'll admit I haven't tried logging into their actual website yet, but when I try logging in via Firefox it tells me my browser is not supported. Okay, fair enough. Not ideal but it's no problem to use Internet Explorer for this site instead.

When I use IE I get the following error:
Sorry this application does not currently support the Sun Java plug-in. To turn off of the plug-in and use the default Microsoft Virtual Machine, please go to the 'tools/internet options' menu and disable the plugin from the advanced tab.

I've disabled the Sun Java Plug-In just as it says to, restarted my PC and still I get the same error. I've tried this on two different computers now (although they are both PCs in my house) and still have had no luck accessing the site.

Any suggestions please?
Thank you!

I log in via Firefox, so there shouldn't be a problem.

There's something not working properly with the Halifax site. Even after logging in sucessfully, normal pages just don't load - and have to be 'bumped' by hitting 'refresh'. Anyone getting normal service out of Halifax at the moment is lucky!

    Works for me at 4.30am

Perhaps you experienced the AM updating when, yes it can stop showing accounts properly for a couple hours usually between about 2am and 4am.
