Hi LJ
I found this link on E Cheques you might find helpful, there appears to be a difference between an E cheque and Paypal with the "E" taking time to clearI run because I like BEER.....

As a seller echeques are a bit annoying as despite saying they clear in about 5 days it is usually nearer 10 working days which is a real pain. It means that your seller will wait until they receive notification from paypal that the payment is clear before they send the item, so you will have to be a little patient.
I don't know why some payments go as echeques, it's another of those paypal mysteries.

I had this crop up in my dealings recently. The buyer was very confused and so was I. I had to wait 9 days for the money to get to my account, whereas the buyer said the money left her account soon after she made the payment. So PayPal held on to the money all that time, where it was earning interest for them, rather than us. Must look into it...:wall:0
