There is a post about cheap paris hotels with a a company called hotelformule1 on Uk hot deals. They appear to have rooms in Paris for 36 euros (£28 per night) and if you click on the yellow square beside the hotel you can book breakfast for 75p per person it seems. It seems to have basic rooms without ensuites.

Someone on that thread recommends this site and rooms come up at 56euros per night (about £44) for the nights you want.

I had the same thought while reading the OP, so many people ask for help finding a "cheap" holiday, hotel etc but they don't define cheap. Everyone's idea of cheap is something different.

We have just booked a hotel for Paris in September....found it on expedia then had a look around on the net, and managed to get it for a lot cheaper direct through the hotel, so that might be worth a try if you find somewhere.

We have booked this hotel, for just over £450 for 4 nights!!
