Taking children swimming

We liked playing sharks - which is basically Tig, but in the water. We designated a safe area too, as younger ones can get frustrated if they are never given a chance to win a game. Racing each other up and down the pool was fun too but exhausting. My sister and I also invented a game which involved hopping around on one leg and trying to play tig in the water that way! Very frustrating if you are close to someone but you can't hop fast enough to reach them, but fun. We also used to love pretending to be mermaids, going to mermaid school, where we pretended to learn synchronised swimming and then put on shows for our parents!I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0

they did that here in the midlands too, although it might have just been local. anyone under 16 or an adult with a child under 16 got in free, just for the morning session though.'bad mothers club' member 13

I'm in the (very) west mids and they didn't do it here! Boo hoo!0 -

It was far too busy though, and people often had to wait more than 30 minutes to get into the pool because once it was full people were given numbers for a queue.
We went to the free session a few times but it was nicer in the later session when it wasn't busy and we were allowed to play with our inflatables and balls etc.
I just paid £3.70 for me, toddler was free and we used the asda sporting vouchers to get my older one in free.'bad mothers club' member 13

Ok, I don't feel quite so jealous now!
