New Lappie & You Tube

I have a new lappie - Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista Home Premium

You Tube - when I click on the "full screen" option to view a video in full screen, I only get black/blank screen. I can hear the video, but see nothing - apart from the black screen. Pressing "esc" takes me back to the main page for that video and it keeps going, but there is no video to see in full screen mode.

Any ideas?

make sure adobe flash player and microsoft media player are both up to date.

most likely this is a flash player issue.

After updating those try new graphics card driver and the latest directx 9.0c

I had, of course, updated Vista - first thing I did once I'd configured the internet connection.

    Thank you :T :T :T :A :A

(Sadly, it's so I can watch Mark Owen on the Shine video ....... but it just strikes a chord with me!)

    Thank you so much :D
