  • Hiya all, glad to hear you ok. Its really warm here but raining - pah!!

Good luck in going back to work Shazza, are you a bit scared? I would be!

Ooooh date next week shazrobo - woohoo!! Hope you have a great time.

Anni - let us know what doc says about your liver results, glad to hear the rest are ok. Are you still painting?

I'm going to do an IT course in September (have actually been lent the books and sent the files, so I've started already - I need a head start!), hopefully when I've done this I will be accepted onto a teaching course (to teach adults (IT), not kids). Have so far spent nearly £200 on course but I'm looking forward to it, I would love to teach (adults) AND earn some money:p
KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:

    Hi all

Looks like the rain has stopped and it is now a bit cooler than it was yesterday. I finally got round to getting our fans down from the loft last night - wondered why I was struggling in the heat til I remembered last year we had one in every room.

Stiill struggling a bit after coming back from Durham. Basically just feel really tired and de-motivated. Can't sleep unless I am really physically tired which means that i spend hours each day working in the garden/walking/cycling and this also means that I don't spend enough time studying. I really need to catch up before I go back to work - and I need to be thinking about going back after this sick note runs out.

The good news is that the garden and house are looking fantastic. New curtains and curtain rails in the living room, I've covered an old blanket box in material to match the new rug in the living room & Baby cat loves it. The flower beds in the garden are all planted up, and I am nearly finished levelling the soil in the new patio area. Hoping to get it all finished in the next two weeks.

Mum stayed and looked after the house whilst I was away. House & cats were fine when I got back but she has caused £800 of damage to the car - she reversed it into mu neighbours car.

I'm really worried about returning to work. My job involves dealing with other peoples complaints about their mortgages and I just don't think I can talk to people on the phone. I also still can't concentrate very well and I am worried about not meeting my targets. Lastly I am struggling to stay awake when I am driving, especially in the afternoons. So am worried about the journey to and from work (16 miles each way on a very busy dual carriageway - time varies from half an hour to an hour depending on traffic), also the cost of fuel has gone up so much.

Sorry for the self indulgent winging. Hope your all OK. Shazza - hope your return to work goes smoothly.

    KL.

    Hello lovelies.

I was going to go out today...until I woke up and felt like my heart and head had been trampled on by a ginormous elephant so thought it best that I didn't venture outside as I am a danger to myself when I get like this sometimes. I have urges to jump in the road, in front of oncoming cars. Not good!

Just waiting on some more artistic supplies. I've been saving up to get some. Took me a while and I didn't save much, but that's the good thing about Ebay. :)

Hello KL. It looks like it's going to rain here. So glad I'm not going out now.lol.

£800!!! Eek. That is a hell of a lot of money.

Can you maybe integrate into work slowly? Take it one step at a time as you don't want to rush in and then make you mental health worse. :)

Oh and welcome back lovely! :)

    xx

£800!!! Eek. That is a hell of a lot of money. Aye it is a lot of money. Car needs new bumper and rear panel - all of which will need to be sprayed to match the rest of the car.

Can you maybe integrate into work slowly? Take it one step at a time as you don't want to rush in and then make you mental health worse. :)Yes I will have a staged return to work - but at the moment they are talking in terms of hours per day, not in terms of targets. And of course it will cost me the same amount to get to and from work regardless of how many hours I am there for. Have just bought a new bike so am thinking about cycling at least some of the way - this will save me petrol money and get me my excersise so I can sleep.

Oh and welcome back lovely! :)
    Thank you :A

Thank you for welcoming me back LM. Hope your art stuff gets to you soon - are you planning anything for today?
