Welcome back Shaz and Sf and anyone else who has been away.

I apologise for my little absence. For some reason I don't feel very well. I'm not sure if I should associate it with the blood test because surely a blood test wouldn't make me feel this ill two days after having it?
Oh well. I'll survive.

I need a lil opinion on something and I don't want to be straight forward and ask my doctor because I like her too much and might break down crying.lol.

My doctor is a "GP Registrar". Does this mean that she is only doing GP training at my surgery and will eventually leave or is she on a full time contract but it just a different type of GP? I was just wondering because other doctors at the surgery are "Principals". Just getting ready for if/when the time comes for her to leave as it's better to psych myself up for it sooner rather than later.

Why is is that all the people I like leave and get taken out of my life but all the people I hate insist on staying?

It's nice to see my tifflings posting - I worry about you when you're too quiet. I know it always goes quiet at this time every year but that's no excuse, especially as you know I shouldn't be left unattended...

Morning peeps - well it is if you managed to get any sleep! And it's supposed to get even hotter today and tomorrow according to my computer.
Hey bmf :wave:- what are your knees forecasting? When's the snow coming hunnie?Sigh - never mind - nearly Christmas!
I really need to mow the lawn but I can't do it in this kind of heat. I could manage it now while it's cool, but I don't think it would make me very popular with the neighbours. There again, how much do I feel like being a baaaaad Tiffster?!

The Shiny Walled Box Thingie
An Amish boy and his father were visiting a nearby mall. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny silver walls that moved apart and back together again by themselves.

The lad asked, "What is this, father?"
The father, having never seen an elevator, responded, "I have no idea what it is."
While the boy and his father were watching wide-eyed, an old lady in a wheelchair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched as small circles lit up on and off up above the walls. The walls opened up again and a beautiful twenty-four-year-old woman stepped out.

The father looked at his son anxiously and said, "Go get your mother."

i'm feeling good today, just got an email, from seefilmfirst, and got two free tickets to see wild child tommorrow, first time i been able to get free tickets for a suitable film at a time that suits me, am happy :j
