What a nightmare of a ride i've had!!!!

I went to Sitges for 9 days, firstly I bought a pda at £360 and lost it on the way out!
I also forgot to take my MEDS with me!!!!
Fell out with OH after the 2nd night so spent the rest of break on my own!!!
On the way back towards El Prat on the train, I was one of the victims of a pick pocketer, got my wallet stolen (160euro, 80 in sterling, credit cards, bank cards etc etc)
Got to the Airport, ticket was lost, i had to reverse charges back home for my nephew to sign into my account and get my boarding number!!!!
Got to stanstead airport and had to beg around to get bus far home (which was very humiliating as easyjet wouldn't help out)

Nightmare of a Holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear all,
Sorry I haven't posted for the last week. I have been in deepest Durham on my Open University Summer School. I had thought that I would be able to access the internet whilst I was away and this is why I hadn't forewarned you all about my absence. My plans failed and I couldn't get access at the university. I doubt you all missed me very much - although for the first couple of days I felt very lost without the safety net that you guys provide for me.

Anyway, had a good time after a very sticky start. Am glad it is over though as has been a tiring week. If you guys are interested I can tell you a little more about the sticky start and the good stuff, and can post up some links to piccys of rocks & scenery that I have been learning about.

Am now on the train back home (they have free wireless access!!! - how cool is that?) and am busy uploading my piccys to my photobucket account. Heh I booked really early and got cheap first class tickets - loads of space and a little quieter.

Have just about caught up with the thread. My brain is a bit dead now after working so hard last week so I can't remember who posted what in the last few pages (I am convinced I failed the exam yesterday because my memory just wouldnt work).

So, hugs to all of you who need them, I hope that you all find some sunshine even if you are going through a dark patch.

Oooooh yeh just remembered - whilst I was away (remember I was doing my garden before I disappeared to Durham?) my mum has planted the flower beds I created where my lawn previously was. I can't wait to see what plants she has chosen - and again if you are interested I'll post some piccys - I know some of you have seen the before/during photos and thought you might like to see how it has progressed. Won't be able to get these online until tomorrow or monday though in all likelihood.

Lastly, whilst away I did have a few problems (alluded to above) and the first two days I felt really panicky and anxious. The good news is I did manage somehow to get through it - but the interesting thing is I found that in my despair the one thing I craved was to get online and "speak" to you guys. This is an amazing place and I feel blessed to have found somewhere I can call home (I just hope you are all happy to put up with my ramblings, and that even if I have no advice to give that I can be of some albeit limited help to someone else).

Back to uploading photos - have about another hour and a half before I arrive at Kings Cross and have to face lugging my case, laptop, vanity case, rucksack and handbag to Victoria. Not sure what on earth I was thinking when I packed - DH was joking that the only thing I had forgotten was the kitchen sink.

Hope all is well,I am fine I was so tired today I had a nice sleep after lunch and I didnt wake until 4pm,I have had a busy week with the carnival and Its really tired me out Mum and Dad came over today and Mum said I looked tired

Evening all
Have spent the last few days sorting out OH and one small persons birthday stuff. Ate far too much cake, felt crap so ate some more! The diet is on hold for the time being!! have lost quite a lot over the last year so I reckon I can have a week off:o
Looks like Summer has finally come, hope the weather is good for you guys too. I have loads of sweet peas growing outside the back door and in this weather the smell is fantastic, wafting in through the open door.

h everyone :j i'm back
really missed you guys, going on hols with kids is ok, but really missed the company i get on here, all kids talk about, is mum can we have more money lol
the weather was red hot while we were away and got a bit sunburnt as forgot to buy sun cream
hilight of the hols, was when keith harris and orville switched on mablethorpe illuminations, orville is so funny and made me laugh lots
