Hi, Sorry to Hijack this thread but does anyone know of any current discount codes/vouchers that apply to 16-25 railcard ( previously young persons railcard.) I know that Nat West offer a card if you have a student account with them but I don't want to go down that route!I may not have thanked you but I meant to, honest!0

Thanks, OP. Need to renew mine now anyway, so this is great.
I got a discounted one last year for about £15 but at £12 this is even better!0 -
as a single parent i heard from someone that if a parent is making a rail journey to collect/drop their children they can use the railcard as long as they buy a adult and child ticket, even if the child is not travelling with the adult on one journey. Anyone have experience or know if this is true? i checked the T&cs but cant find anything to verify this.0

I've got a code to purchase the family and friends rail card for 50% off so it's now only £12 they send it to your home address.
The URL to the website is: WWW.FAMILY-RAILCARD.CO.UK
The code is: DAILYM12
It's only valid until 31st July.0 -

Was having a look on the site yesterday for a friend, couldn't find any discount for the card but you do get a FREE YHA single membership when you buy the card online. And you can use the card for other discounts too.

When you telephone for this you have to quote your railcard number as the number has been freely posted online.

the discounted code does work if typed in the code box in capitals, however read it carefully the card can only be used for discounted travel if you are travelling with one child at the same time aged 5-15 - worth knowing before doing anything (just incase you were thinking of using it alone)0
