The child must be travelling with you.

In your situation, get two sets of single tickets. You will probably end up spending less in total.

Between 22nd June and 31 July and enter code DAILYM12 when you buy online it will reduce card from £24 to £12 and will then offer one third of most adult fares, plus upto 60% off kids fares for up to 8 people.:j

3 month ago someone posted a link to the Daily mail offer for a 3 month free trial of the family and friends railcard; this period comes to an end on 30 June. Here is the reminder of how you can buy a new rail card (valid for 1 year) for 50% off the original price (£12)

Don't think this has been re-posted recently. Following on from the Daily Mail's 3 month free Family Railcard offer don't forget you can now apply for the ½ price 12 month Family Railcard - use the code DAILYM12 (all in upper case, well apart from the numbers!!) when you buy and it is ½ price = £12

It is not linked to the 3 month free card, so anyone can apply using the code (am I allowed to post the code here?)
