email wont delete

I have an email in my inbox which when i click on it it says message cant be displayed and when i try to delete it a box comes up saying unknown error occured and wont delete it.
How do i get rid of it? am on windows mail

You dont, had it once and it sat aroun for a while. I think I installed another Winxp system in the end not seen it lately, it was on vista. There is a MS workaround on technet.0

Had exactly the same problem - assuming you are using Vista. Microsoft knowledge base has a downloadable mini-program that will sort for you, not a permanent fix and can re-cur. Apparently due to virus scanner kicking in as you send an email.0
