Any one used economycarhire

Just wondering if anyone had used them.

I have hada good price from them of £177 for 4 door economy for the 23rd August to 6th September for Florida.

If you have any other suggestions I am intrested in hearing.

Basically looking for low cost, full insurance and no excess to pay as I dont want the fear of being charged alot if I accidentally crash or something.

Used them twice - Menorca and Algarve. If I'd had a bad experience I would only have used them once!

Have used them in the Algarve for the past 4 years, never had a problem, always virtually new cars, would highly recommend them. You'll also find other reports/feedback on holidaytruths website.

I have used them about 6 times now. their prices are very good and the pick-up and drop off has always been problem free. Didn't know they did the USA though - are we talking about the same company - www.economycarhire.com - they are UK based.

I've used them a couple of times with no problem. Bear in mind they are just a broker (middle man) so you are not hiring the car from them. However they are better than many brokers in that you get to know who the car will actually be hired from.

    Happy holidays!

    thanks for the reply.

Yes we are talking about the same car company.

I got one last question to do with the insurance from them.

It is fully inclussive and I wont have to worry about excess being paid out to them in the event of any damage, do they allow you to include/buy extra to cover window and tyres and if so is it worth it.

I'm totally out of my depth, probably worth phoning them.

ALso can't decide if to go through my royalties Gold account as they offered me #190 for same model which is about 10 pounds more. decisions decisions.

Yes you can purchase extra insurance when you collect the car - usually windsreen/tyres and we have done this in the past. Must say that the last 2/3 times though we havent bothered, just the risk you take. You could telephone them if you want anymore info and I am sure they will answer all your questions. Have a great holiday.
