take a look at this auction and check his feedback- Item number: 6569155085,
i regularly browse ebay for vouchers etc, last week i noticed this sellers auctions and thought what a deal, but as ive been a victim of voucher fraud a few months ago i decided to check out sellers other auctions,he was selling vast amounts of vouchers £1000's of pounds worth,i remember that when i was scammed seller had hugh listings,i emailed ebay safety centre alerting them to the auction in question, got standard reply back.week later look at sellers feedback he as conned lots of bidders/buyers,ebay cannot of taken my concerns seriousely, never even bothered to contact me further,so this seller as conned other decent ebayers and at the moment is still trading with multiple listings of vouchers, why are ebay so slow and ignoring customers concerns?

I wouldn't worry too much, no one in their right mind is going to bid with feedback like that.
Just continue to report to ebay when you come across listings like this, but really at the end of it all the feedback is the biggest deterrent.

i actually reported to ebay last week on suspicion of him being a scammer due to high volume and values of vouchers, his feedback was okay then,i thought ebay would have investigated him before anyone could have been scammed, all ebay had to do was look at his auctions and they would have realised it was a scam, instead they never acted at all,all i received from them was the standard reply via email, obviousely no action was taken by ebay, iam very alert now when buying on ebay and this seller was a definate scamster in my eyes, but ebay let him carry on listing multiple vouchers at unbelivable prices,eg £200 of book vouchers for £80,this con man has now been barred,at last it has taken bidders/buyers to have lost cash before ebay acted, shame on ebay.0

This is reply i got from ebay on 6 october 5 days ago- Thank you for writing eBay's SafeHarbour Department about a listing or
seller you would like us to investigate for fraudulent activity. We are
very concerned about this type of activity and we will review your
report as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
Due to privacy concerns, we cannot keep you informed about the status of
our investigation. While you will only receive this acknowledgement of
the receipt of your report, please be assured that we will thoroughly
review the situation.
i never heard anything else from them,so much for trying to make ebay a safe trading place for all.0 -

I am one of the stupid people to loose money through this man! I wish I had thought more about this guy before bidding but he did have good feedback then! I have bought vouchers before and it has always been ok, but this time I got scammed, hopefully I may be able to claim some back through paypal, but I will definately be wary of anyone listing huge amount of vouchers again! :mad:DFW no.630!

sorry to hear you got scammed by him,as i mentioned above i was scammed by similar methods as this scammer was using a few month ago,i now always check and double check now before buying on ebay again especially with vouchers,if value is say £50+ i will always look for paypal protection cover, otherwise unless feedback is tremendious and seller as been trading a few years ,i will not bid, once bitten twice shy!0

if say you are looking for vouchers and come across a auction or buy it now which seems too good to be true go to search sellers other items,if they are listing lots of same item(multiples)chances are its a scam eg £1000`s pounds worth of same vouchers, also look at what they have been buying via their feedback eg alot of scammers will buy alot of low cost items to get a decent feedback rating, also if they have sold vouchers before look at what values they were selling, youll probably find low values as opposed to what they are listing now+how long have they been registered on ebay?eg most scammers will have only been registered a monyh or less.hope this helps.0
