Help my fax machine is broken.....waiting for urgent fax.......is there anyway i can receive fax via broadband........with immediate set up

It won't help you with your present number, but you can get a free fax-to-email account with many ISPs, with an 0870 number. I know people don't like 0870 numbers, but this seems like fair use to me, for occasional use. Perhaps you could get this fax re-sent to that.

I think most of these are acting as agents for eFax. You can get an account with them that enables sending as well and also has a choice of London or free 0808 numbers; I haven't really looked into this about subscriptions charges etc, as I'd hardly use it.
