Doormats covered in dog hairs

Good afternoon.
Can anybody recommend a type or make of doormat from which dog hairs can easily be removed? I have tried one of the straw/raffia type ones which are impossible to clean with a vacuum as the hairs get stuck in between the fibres and the same happened with a carpet- type mat. When we wipe our feet on the mat, some dog hairs stick to the shoes and also they look messy covered in dog hairs. Maybe I will have to teach my golden retriever to walk around the doormat and not over it!
Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

My springer x lab lays on our back door Turtle Mat and it never seems hairy and it's easy to vac or wash anyway.

A Carpet mat should be easy to clean by using a green scouring pad. I use them for cleaning my stairs also

I have two washable nylon carpet type mats by the front door , got them in Morrisons I think. I have a spare set so I can pop them in the washing machine when they look a bit grubby. Haven't noticed dog hairs on them and my dogs are very fluffy and use said mats to sleep on!

Thank you to all of you who have replied. Are the rubber doormats good for drying shoes and paws too? I like the designs on the turtle mats so think I will order one and give it a try.

Me again! Just checked the price of the turtle mats. I will either ask for one for Christmas or wait until I am debt free! I am sure I could find a rubber mat much cheaper for use in the meantime.

What about a Turtle Mat type from John Lewis (for example)?

There are lots of this type of mat about and they are far cheaper than the Turtle mat, but the quality is nowhere near as good. It's one instance where you really do get what you pay for.

The Turtle mat stops dirt and wet dead!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
