Sky+ in other rooms

We have had sky for 6 years and have just had sky + installed for free thank you grabbit board!

Our problem is that we used to be able to watch sky upstairs albeit the same channel that was on downstairs, and now can't get any reception in bedrooms for sky at all. Can anyone help?

If your using the RF output from the Sky+ box it could be that the channel is different from your original box -- Try a manual tune on the TV upstairs -- Dave

    Hi patchwork cat,
If your connection to the other room from the back of skybox is plugged into (RF output 2) then you may need to make sure this is switched on via the menu's, (Note. you should still however receive a signal whether it is on or not) you can do this by the following:- ps this also alows the use of the magic eye so you can use the remote to change the channels from the other room (magic eye required though can buy at Asda Etc.)

    1. Go to services menu and then goto System Setup (option 4)
    2. Then you have to go into a hidden menu by pressing 01 and then select.
    3. Then option 4 (RF Outlets)

you can then switch on/off the RF Output and change the frequency it is sent out at for tuning in. When finished don't forget to save the options or will have to do it again.

    Hope this helps.
