Moving abroad/paying off credit card

in Credit cards
Hi, I'm hoping someone can ease my worries about this. Basically I been offered a job abroad and if I accept I would have to move in a month. I was wondering if I would have any issues paying off the debt from abroad? At the moment I make my payments online, and I'm sure if I made a payment from abroad the credit card company will know from my IP that I'm not in the UK. Would they have any issues with this? Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been in a similar situation as well!
Maybe you're the same as me, we see things they'll never see...

Worry not - the credit card companies don't mind at all as long as you pay them!
I moved out of country 7 years ago - most of my credit cards didn't mind me changing my address to a foreign one and I keep one or two with my parent's address in the UK in case I need to order something from UK only websites. They really don't care where they get paid from (as long as it is still in sterling!)
Relax about it and look forward to the great opportunity! :beer:0 -
Thanks for the reply  I won't be changing my address as I plan on returning to the UK after about a year or two and also because like you said, I will probably want to order a few things from here sometimes. Good to hear you had no problemsWorry not - the credit card companies don't mind at all as long as you pay them!
