How does overseas buyer pay by PayPal in UK Sterling?

A buyer in the US has asked me this question and wants to know if she needs a special PayPal account to pay me in UK Sterling.

Would I just need to send her an invoice as normal?

Just send her a normal invoice - it should automatically select GBP as the currency to pay in. They don't need a special PayPal account or anything.

Just explain that paypal makes the conversion for them, they just click on the pay now button, they then pay just what it says. They will be billed in dollars on their c/card and you will get pounds in your a/c

Just butting here with a newbie question? Does ebay automatically bring up those invoices when a sale has been made?

If you go into your 'my ebay' page - then 'sold' - all your sold items will be there and you can send an invoice from that page, all the details will be on it for your buyer and you can put a customised note on it too
