Hi,
Please help, I am desperate....
I try to write a movie to a blank DVD but I get the following message: Please insert a blank DVD.
I use Philips bland DVD's but on the box is a sticker that say the following:
in a 2.4x DVD+RW data drive you need to check how to get the required firmware upgrade.....
no instructions re upgarde in box.

Hi
I had a lot of problems with my dvd recorder that were very similar. In the end i returned it for a refund and got a hard drive recorder.
Firstly check that it will accept +RW discs. Some will only accept -RW.
Secondly google it to see if anyone else has had the same problems.
What make and model is your dvd recorder? You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0 -
