Cheap Flights To Cyprus

Hi There,
I have been looking for cheap flights to Cyprus but am not having much luck. I have tried looking at travelsupermarket but they still seem so high. My mum lives in Northern Cyprus and flights to northern cyprus are quite high as it is so we are planning to fly to Larnaca instead as this is what we did last summer and the flights were cheap. Im shocked with all the taxes that get added on. When I use to work in a travel agent, prices were so cheap, I suppose thats in the past now and all theses taxes must be part of the credit crunch and global warming.

If anyone knows of any other sites I would really appreciate it if you could let me know. Many thanks.

I used to live near Larnaca and used to use www.flightwarehouse.net who specialise in UK-Cyprus flights and vice versa. I think Monarch have just started flying to Larnaca so you could try their website, or Thomas Cook/Excel/Thomson airways websites to see if they have any spare seats but apart from that Cyprus isn't a place where budget airlines fly to

easyjet has not long started to fly to Paphos but only from certain airports
might be worth a look

Its not just taxes that have gone up, fuel supplements are incredibly steep at the moment. The fares themselves haven't changed that much - watch out as well for charter airlines stripping out all the "free extras" such as meals and luggage allowances.

I fly to cyprus every yr and iv found them the cheapest

Also booking a package holiday is worth a look. I know it sounds silly but in the past iv found that a good way of saving because it worked out cheaper then booking just the flight alone!
