So 5 years would be worth £120 at full price. Plus, I think you only get it for each year you are a student up to a max of 5 years.
I think this is the case with NatWest railcards. Of course if you're not gonna use it then nab the £100!
If I have got any of my info wrong don't hate me!
I agree with melancholly's advice though - wait until Martin has written his new schpiel about student accounts before you decide.
Hope this helps,
Nemmer.
£24 x 3 (I'll be a student for 3 years) = £72.
so £100 cash would actually be better.
but will wait and seeLight bulb moment April 07: [strike]£3,655 [/strike] Oct 07: [strike]£2,220[/strike] now 0 - 3 years of Uni debt to be added at a later date
now at Uni as a Mature student -update: now has a First Class BA!0 -
Hi, I am a mature student at Uni - (forty something:eek: ) and have a student account with Nat West. Anyone is entitled to a student (young persons) railcard even though we are 'mature' however it is only for 3 years. Still I have used mine quite a lot and they automatically send you the new one each year. Best Wishes - Lizziebabe.0

Thanks all perhaps I will go for the nat west account as just got the confirming letter I need for the bank account. Just on the literature I've got from Nat West it says 18 to 25 - always best to ask someone who knows!!0
