Prague virgins

Me and my husband are hoping to go to prague on the 20th August to the 25th August. We have never been before and are hoping that someone could advise us on a lovely hotel, How much spending money to bring for 5 days and also anything we hould do whilst we are there. I would be very grateful for any feedback. Thanks

One thing i would recommend is walking up tto Zizkov and Vinorhady - the area has bars and restauratns but is not a tourist trap. Also in the same area take a trip up the TV tower, there is a restaurant at the top with fantastic views of the city. Watch out for the babies though

Just make sure if you are using public transport that you validate your ticket BEFORE you get on the onderground or bus. We didn't realise we had to do it and got fined 500kr. We only went one stop on the underground. A costly mistake on our first day and left a sour taste as they were obviously looking out for the tourists. Other than that Prague is one of the prettiest cities I've ever been to and would go again.
