I'm using win xp and being a lazy sod ,i usually turn the monitor off after shutting down and dont wait around! Tonight i spent a nice hour +down the pub only to find that my pc was still running when i got back.I turned on the monitor and saw that windows was STILL shutting down and it had frozen up.SO i did the bad thing and switched off the power. When i restarted i had 8 security updates to check and download. Could this have any bearing on the fact that this is the first time that the pc has stayed running, despite me shutting down???? Is microsoft that powerfull. ??Whats going on here-can anyone give us a clue?? Come on you techies!!
