i just received the following question on one of my current sales.
needless to say i immediately accepted:D
Q: Hi mate, if you want ill bid your item up, in return would you give me 5% of the total cost? e.g. if the [BLANK] sold for 5.00 you give me 25p?
would you report this?

Yep, report it ASAP, its just a different variation on shill bidding. He huihuinga taangata he pukenga whakaaro – A meeting of people; a wellspring of ideas (Maori proverb)0

LOL! Seriously? What's his/her feedback like? The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0

LOL. I guess if they win by mistake, the seller just offers it to the 2nd highest bidder. What a scam.0

It's a good try though and a money earner if sellers take him on  Then again, you can say yes i'll give you a percentage, then when you do sell it after he's bumped you up you can tell him to sod off

i was just checking to see what this person is currently bidding on and the weird thing is, he/she has already bid on the item before and lost, the final value was £5.00
i have relisted as i have mutiple of this item, so maybe this is just his/her warped way of trying to get a discount?
he/she is also currently bidding on 20+ items of the same ilk, doesn't appear to be a pattern
currently on +17 feedback with 19 transactions, and no negsWhere the !!!! has the Shrug gone!

whilst searching for a possible shill bidding pattern with this user, i noticed some amazing feedback left for one buyer (names edited) neither of these are the bidder on my item:D

Reply by someotherbloke: This person failed to reply any of my e-mails and invoices for 8 days. 08-Sep-05 19:06
Follow-up by some bloke: THANK YOU, for making it easy for people to see who is lying. What a moron. 08-Sep-05 23:43
what the follow up was talking about is the fact that the auction ended 3 days before the seller left negative feedback saying that the buyer has not answered his 5 invoices all for a 50p item:eek:Where the !!!! has the Shrug gone!
