Camping in Ireland

Me and BERTIEclaire are off to Ireland next year in the tent and are wondering what type of socket do you need to connect to the mains electric at the sites?
Is it the same electric hook-up that you would use in England?
any advice welcome.
thanks

Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI

I would think so as ordinary households have ordinary 3 pin plugs.
Why don't you just find a campsite on the web and email them?I haven't got one!0 -
allready done that but no reply - so we won't be staying there then!**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0

Hi Chalky,
I am from NI and do loads of camping (folding camper) around Ireland. I can confirm that it is exactly the same hook up as in UK.
Where you headed to? Make sure you go to Killarney - we were there this year for the 1st time and it is really fab!0
