                    Well was having major problems with my computer last week.it froze and there were loads of virus' on it. I left it in to a shop and they have wiped most of the stuff from it except documents and photos. I had microsoft office on it ....all the programmes but they are gone. I have the orig microsoft office Disc but it is asking me for a 25 digit number which must be on the cd cover ( which i dont have)
also how can i check if i have security etc on my pc as i dont want to log in to my online banking until i am sure.

            I suspect they have reinstalled XP onto the PC and then replaced all your documents and Photoas back afterwards

            and maybe be a little more careful when downloading off the net or opening emails from unknown senders!
 I have avoided viruses for 10 years following these rules (damn I'm cursed now for sure!) and regularly BACK UP BACK UP BACK UP!0
