I've got one reserved for in-store pick-up but have decided not to get it now as a quick 'Google' suggests several people have major issues with this model, for example: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds18116.html

Hmmm, interesting.... what's the model number for the Thompsons?
I'll need to have a quick 'Google' first before I could be persuaded because in the link I gave a couple of the posters reckoned they'd moved to the Echostar from a Thompson 'cause they were naff!

It may or may not have a fault, look at it another way, 100 people buy a product and 5 of the product dont work. the 5 make a fuss and post their thoughts the other 95 dont.
Who would you take notice of. I guess not the 95, same as feedback on ebay 100 positive and 1 neg but the buyer will search to find the neg.
ATEOFD it has a 12mth warranty.0
