You don't have to pay for the top up do you with this.What i mean is is it optional so you could have the top up tv in the future if you want it as i'm looking for a decent freeview box but only really want the free channels not to pay for the extra channels.I know there are cheaper models out there but this one looks like a good buy.

I know with other set top boxes you can use the freeview even if you had not topped up, so you only top up when you want to use it for a month
