booking.com - good or bad

Hiya, I have a friend who is going to be booking her honeymoon to Peru... She lives in the US and was wondering if 'booking.com' was a good/trustworthy site to use.... I've tried searching the forums for previous experiences but have had no luck yet...
Also - does anyone know of any cheap holiday booking sites that can be used if you live in the US??

Booking.com is a very good site to use,hotels cheap and site easy to use.
booked all my hotels for next year with this website.
you just reserve rooms with a credit card and pay when you get there:)

yep fantastic. always use booking .com. You can book the ideal hotel months ahead. then save up for it and pay when you get there. great if you change your mind - no penalty for cancelling a bit before the date holiday due to start (need to check with hotel's cancellation policy though). have stayed all over with them and never had a problem . i always recommend them.
