Spare Virgin modems

HI guys,

I've somehow accumulated over the last couples of years around 4 cable modems. I'm just wondering what I could so with them, is there any sort of demand for these things or any uses for them? I don't really want to chuck them

Ideas?

Cheers
Sean

You could make a modem monster to play around with?

Technically they're not yours, they're owned by Virgin Media or whatever and they can take them back. But doubtful.

If I were you I would make them in a modem monster for fun. :rotfl:

I'm not sure you can do anything with them as each one carries a unique identifying number.

    Dispose of them.

Anyone who would want to buy one or take one off your hands would more than likely be wanting to use it to clone the details of an active modem and obtain access illegally.

Virgin Media won't want them back as it costs them more to do anything with them than it does to buy them.

Smash them good and throw them away.

No value in them at all as any new customer is given a new one.

Nor could they just be plugged in and work.
