How I can become a Qualified Primary School Teacher

I am interested in becoming a Primary School Teacher, but am unsure what to do next!!
I work full time and am looking to do the required qualifications around my present job.
The qualifications I hold are GCSE's, BTEC ND in Sports Science, a BSc in Sport & PE, and an MSc in Sport.
What is the quickest, most efficient route in to gaining the required qualifications? If one is available! Also, can they be done in an evening class or on-line?
Thanks in advance.

The link youve been given will be the best. I would reccomend looking into the PGCE. Its ALOT of work, but definately the quickest way to get into it

You won't be able to work full time whilst doing a PGCE and even part time can be difficult. The GTP will give you an income if you can get a place but these are very competitive.
I'm a little concerned as to whether you've considered all aspects of teaching; the fact that you think you might be able to qualify by doing an on line course is rather worrying!0 -
PGCE would be your best bet. Do you have GCSE science, maths and English? As you will NEED those at grade C or above.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0

As other people have said, PGCE is the quickest route as you already hold a degree. You will receive a bursary while you train or you could try for a GTP position which will pay you a salary (if you are lucky enough to get one of these positions). PGCE is hard work and very time consuming!!!! (as is teaching)0

Do you currently work with that age group?
If not you will definitely need to get some experience before you apply.
And even if you do work with children now, your course application will look much better if you have experience of working within a school setting.
Given you are working full time, it may be an idea to start planning work experience asap so you can fit it in.
I agree with the others that a PGCE is probably your best option. You can do it part time in most unis (over two years) but it would still be very difficult to work full time alongside it, I'd have thought.0
