Refused CC application from two years ago

Hi, I was refused a CC two years ago. I want to apply again now.

I've checked my credit file with experian and it gave me a good bill of health and so in theory, I should be fine.

As far as I can tell, the CC refusal from 2 years ago is the only mark against me.

That's cool... but do you have a question?
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

The question is to what extent will the CC refusal from two years ago affect my new application. Perhaps my language wasn't clear enough.

The credit reference agencies do not record cc refusals, only credit checks and these drop off your file after 12 months.
