cheap travel insurance with a chronic illness

I discovered an interesting loophole today that I figured people would find useful
I was looking for travel insurance but I have type 1 diabetes so the normal online ones don't cover that
I got a basic quote thought travelsupermarket and was told to phone columbus as they couldn't handle conditions online, the basic quote for £10.75
I phones columbus and was told that to buy a policy over the phone including my condition would cost £25-£30 but if I bought one online then phoned to inform them of the condition it would be much cheaper though there still would be a addition premium to pay. I assumed this would be £5-£10
I looked around at specialist insurers and they all seemed to be quoting the same so I figured whats the worse that could happen.
It was exactly the right thing to do the extra they charged me for adding the condition to the policy was £1.13p, significantly less than the minium £15 it would of cost me to declare it before the getting the policy
