Sailing Holiday in Greece

Hi I've just booked a 2 week flotilla holiday around the Ionian islands and panicking about what I will need for 2 weeks.
We have never been before and I don't normally travel light! so I will have to be ruthless with my packing
Anyone been before who can say what I will/won't need?

What will the weather like be when you are there? Are you expected to climb the mast and help out with the sails? Are Linens and towels provided?

Hi
We are going end of July so it should be around 30 degrees, not sure how much the temperature drops in the evening but I think it stays warm.
Can't see me climbing a mast, but I certainly aim to help with everything else as necessary
I hadn't thought about linen and just presumed we'd need towels fro showers and separate for swimming/beach - need to double check on the this - thanks.
My thought is I'll need swimwear, shorts and t-shirts for the day and probably longer shorts/ 3/4 trousers for the evening with a jumper/fleece or 2 incase it gets chilly.
I don't want to go ultra casual if everyone else still gets dressed up in the evening, taking into consideration the amount of space in the cabin.
BTW this is from someone who normally has shoes and bag to match each outfit, so I'm really up against it! Although we have been camping a couple of times for 3 weeks and loved it so I can live out of a holdall.
Do I need proper deck shoes or will my crocks be ok?
Thanks for the adviceLook after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
Haven't done the sailing thing, but will be a very unusual July if you need a fleece (apart from when you get back to the UK). Been to Corfu, Zante, and Kefalonia (just back from there yesterday) late June for the last few years - wore jeans out and back, rest of the time in shorts - even at stoopid-oclock in the morning.0

I recommend one fleece or jumper as it can feel cold in the evenings after a hot day, particularly on the water.
I took deck shoes sailing in the Dodecanese a few weeks ago but was tempted in Simi by croc type things at just 5 Euros. Best value shoes I ever bought. They are amazing - warm yet cool, comfy enough to wear all day, quick drying, not smelly. Sturdy and grippy enough for sailing. I wore them all the rest of the holiday!
Take a peaked hat to keep the sun off you and plenty of sun cream. Sailing gloves (if you have soft hands) and an ipod+itrip are also good onboard. And a little torch for midnight trips to the heads.0 -
Thanks for the replies.
The torch is a good idea and hat.
I've just bought some new crocks (worn last years out) so I know I'll get plenty of wear. Not sure if they are any better than the cheap ones you see around but hey ho at least my feet are designer
Sweetfeet have 15% off Cayman Crocks at the moment, plus 10% (look on hot deals for code) and 10% quidco - if anyone's interested.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0
