Towel rail broke Sat am (an under-surface retractable jobby)
Went to BigShed diy - none on shelf, assistant looks it up "order only; could be three weeks plus; cost £15"
Tour of other diy outlets - nowt.
Hot day so home for a brew.
Googled 'towel rail' - BigShed site says 'Yes in stock' at depot just visited!!
Another link went to Screwfix site.
In stock 2 types, one posh one 13 quid, t'other exact copy of broken one (and v. similar to BigShed's) £3.99!
Ordered both (Sat pm, remember)
Monday evening got home - parcel in greenhouse! BIG BOX with two towel rails in plus catalogues etc.
Towels now back in cupboard.
Hooray for service!!!

I like Screwfix, The next day service always pulled my but out of the fire when installing Networks! (The customer always decides to add "just a few more computers" at the last min for me to wire up!)Laters
