I only spent a couple of days there, last week, but had a great time. Some really good walking around Mont Blanc. Make sure you take the train to the Glacier - Voyage mer de Glace. The towns quite pleasant too!0

Walk up to the Villa Rosa, it is half way up the mountainside, you can see it quite easily or ask your hotel, great place to have a drink as a reward!Filiss0

Go up St Bernards Pass and go u[p Mt Blanc from the Italian side, cheaper and no queues when we went.0

pick a day when it is clear and take the telepheique up to the aguille de midi.
not particaurly cheap but an incredible place to be that anywhere else would involve a serious amount of climbing.
depending on the amount of snow the walk from the end of the railway line to montivers back along to the middle station of the midi telepherique is fairly level and on a good path with fantastic views - the tourist office will be able to let you know is it is passable and also reccomendother walking options.
have a good time!0
