We moved into our flat this weekend with the help of our lovely friends.
It's fab and after everyone left last night, we went to bed with big grins on our faces feeling very, very happy!
And so begins a new chapter!
Mr P and I have been together for 3 years this month (in 3 weeks) and I wanted to do something special for us. However, we have a cousin's wedding that weekend so it's a no go sadly.
I'm sure I could think of something else to do though!0 -

Morning all,
With great pleasure and glee, I closed my Barclays account this morning.
What a relief! yip yippy yip!
Now to work on the remaining £500 on my credit card, then start paying back the bank of mum and dad!
my total debt is now £1,625.00, which I can hardly believe as when I pulled my head out of the sand I was around £6,000.00 in debt.
With the love, support and guidance here (and a few wobbles along the way) I've managed to get it down so much (despite the debt growing a few times).
So thanks MSE's... but I'm not done quite yet!

I have joined the 'A payment a day' challenge.
I'm paying £5.00 per day onto my creidt card!
I'll still make lump sum payments when I can though, as it'll take me forever otherwise!
Credit card now £495!0
