where are you doing your LPC? your fees about about £2k cheaper than mine- should have looked around...ah well!

Barclays also do a professional training loan not to be confused with the career development loan, when i did LPC (2years ago) thats who i borrowed with as they were the cheapest at that point. I agree with cheftyke and unless you have a training contract sorted i'd wait before rushing into the LPC many people from my course are either starting their contract this year...this means they have had 2years repaying debt on a lower than anticipated salary! Hey thanks yeah i've shopped around since january, I've taken a long time to think about this I'm doing it at swansea, and its not part of the college of law/bpp etc so we're on our own(so natwest is a no no) . Its just a difficult decision, i should stop being a baby and just make my mind up...but then debt is a big deal arg. I'm currently in the process of applying for training contracts-didn't do it last year cos my original plan funnily enough was to take a year out to get money. mmm prob should have stuck to the original. ah well thanks again!!
