first time booking online

hi I'm currently booking via thomas cook to go to turkey and i had a few questions..

do i need a visa for turkey ? where do i get it?

also what should i do with money - do i take some english notes with me or should i take travellers cheques?

any advise would be appreciated - thanks

    There is plenty of recent information regarding which currency to take to Turkey - a forum search will find it easily ;0)

    you dont need a visa but will have to pay ten pounds sterling on arrival per person - as incapuppy says there is lots of information on the forum regarding spending money
