london travelodges

which is the best travel lodge to stay in if visiting the london eye please?
I have been looking at aldgate east and farringdon. Would prefer one in a reasonable area as it will be just me and the children would also like somewhere near restaurants and tube stations
thanks LLL

  • City Road is a nice new one in a reasonably nice area. It's near 3 tube stations; Old Street, Liverpool Street, and Moorgate, though all would require at least one change on the tube to get to the Eye. You could go by No.4 bus to Waterloo (which is near the Eye) from there.

    Battersea one on York road.

5 mins walk from Clapham Junction & a direct 7-10 min train to Waterloo station.
