Oven trips main circuit breaker

In the past few days, our electric built in Hotpoint oven has decided to start tripping.

I thought it only happened when the thermostat reached temperature, but it's also occurred whilst it was heating up. It doesn't trip every time and can sometimes be used after the power is restored.

Obviously, I don't want to keep using it, as there's clearly something wrong (the element?) that's causing it to do this.

The oven is at least 7 years old, and has been there since before we moved in, so maybe it's time for a new one, unless someone knows if it's relatively cheap and easy to sort out this kind of problem.

Otherwise, any suggestions for built in electric ovens less than £250. Only needs to have a grill and single fan oven. Colour not really important.
