RAC Autoscreens

I just wanted to say a big thank you to RAC Autoscreens for coming to my daughters rescue on the A34. A side window smashed as she was overtaking a lorry and she was very upset and shaken up. Her insurance and breakdown cover (AutoAid) didn't want to know, just said she wasn't covered and left her to sort it out. This to a young woman, on her own, in tears and distraught!
She called me at home and asked me to find nearest screen replacement service. I called Autoglass and RAC and what a difference in attitude. Autoglass said couldn't help as she was on a dual carriageway - RAC confirmed she needed to move the car but there the similarity ended. They called the local centre at Newbury who sent somebody out to find her and escort her back to the centre. Then they made a temporary repair to get her on her way - she was heading back to college at Cirencester. Finally, they repaired the screen at Cirencester. Amazingly they did all this for no extra charge - they simply charged their normal rates for the glass and fitting which was £40 cheaper than Autoglass!
They were terrific and went out of their way to help her. I just wanted to say thanks - it's really great when a large organisation shows such amazing customer service.
