CH: Pet Rescue

Hi all.

I'm not sure if this is on the right board or not but I just wanted to highlight a good cause by the name of Pet Rescue - the website is https://www.pet-rescue.org.uk which is soley to promote animals who need a new home - but these are animals in an animal rescue or sanctuary. There are so many animals out there that need to find a good home - there really is no need to go to a pet shop for your animals! There is a special section called Pets In Danger which highlights animals which are at risk of being put to sleep. The aim is to get as many of these animals into good homes as possible, the least they deserve.

That was the first thing. Secondly, I wondered if anyone had an good fundraising ideas?

    Easiest fundraising today is:

    Mobile phone recycling.

I did this to meet my London Marathon commintment and ended up at nearly £3000

Hard part is getting the right recycle company

happy to provide any info but the recycle company pays for the phones and postage etc

    Mortgage-free Glee!
I would love to get a second dog but can't get my husband to agree. My children and I therefore decided to sponsor a dog with the Dogs Trust. When we do go for another dog one day, I would definitely head to an animal shelter.
