Has anyone had any experience with this company - they are regional I think, so in the local paper where I see their advert, if i take my own photos which isn't a problem I can advertise my house for sale with them for £169 for six months.
Had my property on the market for about that long anyway and its going to cost me at least £2000 more if the estate agent finally hooks someone.
Not in a great rush to move although I have seen somewhere I would like very much!

You say your in no hurry, which, is fair enough, but you have to be careful your property doesnt attract the 'for ever up for sale tag'.

Price isnt a function of what you think your home is worth, its a function of what the market thinks its worth.

The market alone decides the price of everything with unswerving accuracy.

No sale = wrong price for the object on offer.

When I was selling my house as well as the agent I put it on with every free website I could find (plus propertybroker which I paid for). Overall I had 2 responses via houseladder.co.uk, one from Home.co.uk and one from buyitprivately.com and about 50 from the agent. So from what I've found it won't harm to put them on sites you don't pay for but I certainly wouldn't pay for one.
  • Thanks for your opinions - I see the free one with houseladder - do you think its worth buying a for sale board from them though? We are very competively priced, market just seems falt round here.
  • oops - flat!
